Drew, always up to something...

Sarah and I like to do themed cast members for Halloween. Last year, you will remember we did Peter Pan! They loved it and we did too. So this year we decided to do 'Alice in Wonderland.' It was an easy decision for me. Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum are the goofy twin boys that Alice runs into in Wonderland. I laugh when I see them in these costumes, because my mom would call Sarah and I Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum whenever she thought we did something silly and just down right stupid.

Surfing Pumpkins!

Today was playgroup at the pumpkin patch. Well, Sarah and I have been training for a half and did a long run today of 7 miles. Since we were almost an hour late, we missed all the fun activities and came up as all our friends were leaving. The 30 minute drive for a grand total of 10 minutes. But Drew picked out an awesome pumpkin and Tyler was so excited to see it (since he is at school now on Fridays).

Last year, Drew was all about 'riding' pumpkins. This year, he was all about surfing them!

Loved it....

till he saw Brookie getting in her car. 10 minutes was up, off to Chick-fil-a for lunch.

But we got the pumpkin, since it was such a short visit. :)

Drew was just telling me how much he 'loves pumpkins.' And then he ever so gently put his head on it...wonder what he was thinking.

And then he smiled and hugged it.

Destin!

So muggy!

One of fourteen kids! They are all Tyler and Drew's closest buds. And when we got home from Destin we asked them what their favorite thing was about the trip. The sand or being with their friends. They quickly and loudly said 'OUR FRIENDS!'

A lot of this going on

But mostly this. They absolutely love the sand and can play for hours in it.

This house is perfect. How you feed all the kids-at once and all the same thing (basically).

Three years in a row in Destin, I love it!
